[LW11] spx10 p70 heading error h2183 - madjonny - 01-02-20 11:35 AM seatalk ng system spx10 course computer i70 mfd p70 auto pilot display pb200 weatherstation h2183 airmar heading sensor A78 mfd so initially used the pb200 for heading sensor but erratic reading as too high p (mast head) added additional airmar h2183 in the centre of the boat at water level (very stable reading) sucessfull calibration heading appears correctly on i70 a78 but not on the p70 as i guess its taking its reading from the spx, the spx for some reason seems to have had the fluxgate removed but does have a ruuder ref, does anyone know how i can get the p70 and spx to use the available heading generated on the seatalkng network any help would be much appreciated xxxx RE: [LW11] spx10 p70 heading error h2183 - Louise - Raymarine - Moderator - 01-15-20 05:41 AM Dear madjonny, Thank you for your post. The SPX10 requires a fluxgate compass for its heading data, the pilot will not operate correctly without one. You can still purchase these, the part number is M81190. Many Thanks Louise RE: [LW11] spx10 p70 heading error h2183 - madjonny - 01-19-20 01:29 AM Thanks Louise so is there a course computer that will take its heading from the H2183 or the pb200 in the seatalk ng network please RE: [LW11] spx10 p70 heading error h2183 - Louise - Raymarine - Moderator - 01-22-20 05:06 AM Dear madjonny, Thank you for your post. All of the pilots still require the fluxgate compass to be connected to operated but the S1 or the S1G will take heading data from a third party source. As long as this is selected as the master data source for heading. Many Thanks Louise Williams |
