Water speed sensor for The eS78 - peteralkins - 06-05-16 05:23 PM Is there a way to interface my old Lowrance SP-BL paddle wheel to my new eS78 with CPT-100 transom transducer? If not is there a similar paddle wheel speed sensor from Raymarine that is supported? I fish salt water and like to reference water speed vs gps speed to adjust for current and tides. Thanks in advance. Speed through water may be added to the system by any of the following means: - interface the MFD to a i40 Speed Instrument w/speed/temp transducer - interface the MFD to an i50 Tridata Instrument w/speed/temp transducer - interface the MFD to an i70 and iTC-5 w/speed/temp transducer (solution employed on my own boat) - interface the MFD to a NMEA 2000 / NMEA 0183 Smart speed/temperature transducer (ex. Airmar ST800) RE: Water speed sensor for The eS78 - peteralkins - 06-25-16 12:19 AM Thanks Chuck I'll look into a smart transducer, but in the mean time I'll leave the LMS337c hooked up for waterspeed and voltage. Thanks you for the tips. RE: Water speed sensor for The eS78 - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 06-27-16 09:02 AM You're welcome. |
