Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Andy,
As indicated within Chapter 4.6 Elementâ„¢ S transducer connection of the Element Installation Instructions, you can extend the length of CPT-S transducer cables using a transducer extension cable (A80273 (4m (13.1ft) CPT-S transducer extension cable).
