The ST8001 and ST8002 differed only in their aesthetics. The ST8001 featured hard edges, while the ST8002 featured softened/rounded edges to better match the aesthetics C/E-Series Classic MFDs.

will the st8001 work / operate with a X10 autpilot computer ?

The ST8001 will work with a x10 course computer. Please be advised parts are no longer available for it. Should you need a controller for a X10 we would recommend a p70s or a p70r,
