[CA11] Airmar B66VL to DSM30 - unixdood - 02-01-20 11:00 AM Hi, I have an Airmar B66VL (Raymarine 78918) which has 2 connectors on it. I would like to connect this to my DSM30. I was told I need a "Y" adapter to do this? DO you have a part number from Raymarine that I need to order? Thanks in advance Bill RE: [CA11] Airmar B66VL to DSM30 - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 02-03-20 04:08 PM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Bill, It appears that you have been incorrectly advised. The M78918 is a version of the B744VL which was designed to be mated to a ST50 instrument. As indicated within the FAQ found here, instrument transducers cannot be adapted to support the fishfinder application features of a MFD or fishfinder sounder module. The last version of the B744VL which Raymarine had sold which had been designed for use with a DSM30/300/250 had the part #A66092. If considering use of the DSM30 with your system, then it would be recommended that the A66092 variant of the B744VL transducer be used. RE: [CA11] Airmar B66VL to DSM30 - unixdood - 02-04-20 05:50 AM thanks Chuck for getting back to me on this! Much appreciated RE: [CA11] Airmar B66VL to DSM30 - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 02-04-20 08:27 AM You're welcome. |
