[CA11] i60 masthead connector stuck inside wire coil - Atlantic35 - 03-30-20 06:47 PM
Just received the windvane kit. The connector at the end of the wire is stuck inside the center of the coil of wire. I have wiggled and pulled gently in almost every direction. Any suggestions?

As you have suggested, when manufactured, the masthead block is inserted into the [censored] within the center of the cable spool. However this is the first report that I have seen within this Forum indicating difficulty in removing the masthead block. It is recommended that you try using dish washing detergent, hand soap, or mild lubricant to remove the masthead block. It may be helpful to apply mild pressure from the opposite side using a blunt object which would not cause damage to the masthead block.
