[CA11] Axiom9 LH 3.11.42 Cannes no External GPS Source Select - pyemarine - 04-02-20 01:33 PM

Hi Chuck,

On my Axiom 9 with LH3.11.42 Cannes I am having intermittent GPS fix problems using the Internal GPS.

On the network several other NMEA GPS transmitting devices are visible, a B&G GS25, Garmin AIS600, Vulcan 9 (internal).

I want to use the externally transom mounted GS25 as a GPS source for positioning and Datum but it is not visible in the source select page after polling; as a matter of fact none of the external devices are showing up and therefore unable to be selected (manual source or automatic).

The GS25 also puts out Heading PNG's and when going to the heading tab in Data sources, it shows up as a selectable source there.

Please advise.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum pyemarine,

Unfortunately, the defect which you identified is a bug within the LightHouse 3 v3.11.42 software affecting the recognition of third party NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 GPS data sources. This defect is expected be corrected within the upcoming LightHouse 3 v3.12.x software update which had been expected to released in late Q2 / early Q3 prior to social distancing associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Raymarine has not released any updated information concerning when the expected LightHouse 3 v3.12.x software update.

Thanks Chuck.
Will be looking out for 3.12.x to fix this.
