I am planning to replace an old Data Marine system with RayMarine. The package purchased for installation includes a DST 800 Tridata transducer. If I mount the DST 800 transducer "flush" will the reading be significantly affected?
If yes, is there a longer Tridata transducer available for use with a fairing block? The hull is approximately 1.245 inches thick.
