Can I use a B60-20 Airmar Transducer with my es78 MFD? I have both and would like to take advantage of more of the es78 capabilities. I have not bored the [censored] in the hull yet.....

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Taylor,
Raymarine's ax8 and eSx8 MFD feature internal DownVision fishfinder sonar circuitry. These MFDs may only be directly interfaced to DownVision or CPT-S fishfinder transducers. Should one desire to use a compatible 50kHz/200kHz transducer with the system, then it would be necessary to interface the MFD to a CP370 Fishfinder Sounder Module which in turn will be interfaced to the transducer.

I have now purchased the right transducer but need an extension cable. Which cable should I purchase for the CPT S transducer?

Raymarine offers the A80273 4m DownVision Transducer Extension Cable for use with DownVision or CPT-S transducers.
