Hi, I’m updating my vhf radio and considering the Raymarine ray73 as it has AIS also. Can anyone confirm if it’s a AIS receive only type or able to transmit boat location also? The product description quotes ‘built in ais receiver providing target data for plotter, radar and instruments....’

The Ray73 AIS is receive only no transmit.
