EV 100 track problem - glennterrell - 06-12-16 08:06 AM I recently purchased an EV100 autopilot for my 35 ft sailboat. All is working fine but when I set it to follow a track it occasionally makes a sudden correction in one direction, then shortly after that, it corrects back in the opposite direction so we are now back on track. This occurs in the middle of the track not at a turn point. Any thoughts on how to fix this? Thanks Glenn RE: EV 100 track problem - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 06-24-16 11:43 AM Has the autopilot (via SeaTalkng backbone) been interfaced to a source of speed through water data (ex. i50 Speed/Tridata)? If so, have you verified that the speed though water sensor is functioning properly? Please state the make/model of MFD/Chartplotter which has been interfaced to the SeaTalkng backbone? Has a rudder reference transducer been interfaced to the ACU-100? What versions of software are installed within the autopilot control head, ACU-100, and EV-1 Sensor Core (MENU->SET-UP->DIAGNOSTICS->ABOUT SYSTEM)? What has the autopilot's Response level been set to? |
