Silencing AIS - Allan - 06-05-20 02:25 PM Hi, we have an es75 MFD and when we set the AIS to silent mode, it only stays silent for a few minutes before it starts transmitting again. How do we stop this happening? Allan RE: Silencing AIS - Chris - Raymarine - Moderator - 06-05-20 02:44 PM Hi Allan, We would recommend updating the eS75 and AIS to the latest sw version. We would also recommend checking the gps connection on the AIS is secured and getting a good fix. RE: Silencing AIS - Allan - 06-05-20 03:06 PM Hi, thank you, can you tell me if the MFD puts it's GPS position onto the Ng backbone? Allan RE: Silencing AIS - Chris - Raymarine - Moderator - 06-11-20 01:44 PM Hi Allan, The AIS does not put GPS position on the backbone. AIS transceiver systems are designed to have their own seperate gps. In this case the eS75 has its own internal gps antenna. Chris, |
