Interfacing a remote alarm to an a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD

Of the a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs, only Raymarine's gS-Series MFDs presently support use with an external piezoelectric horn. Many of those desiring to monitor alarms at a remote location onboard the vessel have elected interface an a65 MFD at the remote location(s) and then network the a65 MFD to the other a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs installed onboard. Major benefits of installing a MFD at the remote location include information concerning the nature of the alarm, ability to squelch the alarm, and access to the features, data, and IP camera video supported by the other networked a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs.
