Heading Sensor Vector Overlay - aurora37 - 06-28-16 06:17 PM I have the EVO2 heading sensor and the GS165 MFD. I can't get the Heading sensor vector to overlay on the chart. I can get the COG vector to overlay, though RE: Heading Sensor Vector Overlay - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 06-30-16 09:57 AM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum aurora37, In order for the MFD to display the Heading data item it must be interfaced to a source of heading data and if the vessel is not moving the vector lengths (MENU->PRESENTATION->VECTOR LENGTH) should be configured to INFINITE. As you have an Evolution autopilot interfaced to the system, should configuring the vector length to Infinite not permit the heading vector to be displayed, then it is recommended that troubleshooting begin by verify that the MFD is receiving heading data. This may be verified by configuring the MFD to display a Databox within any of its application pages/panes and then configuring the Databox to be populated with the Heading data item. After you have done so, please verify that the Heading data item is populated and not dashed. |
