Adding depth data to ax5, cx5, e7, ex5, eSx5, and gS-Series MFDs - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 01-20-16 11:02 AM Adding depth data to ax5, cx5, e7, ex5, eSx5, and gS-Series MFDs Unlike the ax8, eSx8, ax7, cx7, e7D, ex7, and eSx7 MFDs, the ax5, cx5, e7, ex5, eSx5, and gS-Series MFDs are not designed to be directly mated to a transducer. Depth reporting may be added to the system via any of the following methods: - interface the MFD a compatible fishfinder sounder module (ex. CP370, CP100, CP470, or CP570) with compatible fishfinder transducer - interface the MFD to an depth reporting instrument: .....- i40 Depth/Bidata Instrument Display with analog depth transducer .....- i50 Depth/Tridata Instrument Display with analog depth transducer .....- i70 Multifunction Instrument Display with iTC-5 Analog Instrument Transducer Converter and analog depth transducer .....- i70 Multifunction Instrument Display with SeaTalkng Smart depth transducer - interface the MFD to a third party NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000 Smart Depth Transducer ... such transducers cannot be calibrated for depth offset and no depth related alarms may be configured with such transducer.
