hi i was wondering if the es98 will work with rs125 gps antenna?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum echow,

As the Raystar 125 GPS Sensor can support either a NMEA 0183 and SeaTalk communications protocol depending upon how it is interfaced to the system. Many will elect to interface the GPS sensor to the SeaTalkng backbone to permit GPS data to be available to other devices (ex. VHF radio, instruments, etc.) which have been interfaced to the backbone when MFD is switched OFF. This may be accomplished by using interfacing a SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter as part of the system's SeaTalkng backbone. The easiest way to interface the Raystar 125 GPS Sensor to the eS98 MFD is as a NMEA 0183 GPS Sensor per the chart below:
