chart radar overlay - jim35 - 07-23-16 10:19 AM when I try to syn the ranges on the chart radar overlay on my e120 classic it seems to show that the range that is syn. is half of the upper range shown. why are two ranges shown and why is one half of the other? thanks , Jim RE: chart radar overlay - Mark - Raymarine - Moderator - 08-01-16 03:36 PM Hello Jim, On an E120 Classic MFD when you use chart/radar sync you will see that the radar page will show half the range of what the chart shows, but they are in fact sync'd. Example; the chart shows a range of 6nm and the radar will show a range of 3nm. The reason being is that the radar range is measured from the center to the top, center to bottom, center to sides whereas the chart range is all encompassing.
