Looking to update my MFD to v17.45. How do you get this from the computer to the MFD do I need a special cable or do you put it on a Micro SD and then into the MFD?

Hello Dawgs19,
You simply transfer the 26 individual files from the computer to a Micro SD card with a storage capacity of 2 GB up to 32 GB and then insert it into the MFD and power on the MFD.
The entire update instructions can be found in the same location as the V17.45 download.

questions if you want to update the MFD to the latest software version do you need to do the previous updates first? I am about 3 revisions behind.

Unless otherwise specified, one need only install the latest version of software for any product to ensure that it has been updated with the latest features and feature corrections ... this applies to Raymarine all Raymarine MFDs.
