a9x External Monitor via VGA? - SVEscape - 08-12-16 11:19 AM The manual seems to indicate that the a9x series can be hooked up to an external monitor via VGA. Is this correct? What cables would be required? Thanks. Attached is a screenshot of the current manual. RE: a9x External Monitor via VGA? - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 08-12-16 01:18 PM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum SVEscape, While the 9" and larger e/eS-Series MFDs feature a video output port and may be interfaced to a TV or monitor to repeat the MFD's screen image, the same is not so for a/c-Series MFDs. As a workaround, you may want to consider using a Google Chromecast (or a similar product) with a TV or other viewing device having a USB port. The Chromcast device may be used to repeat the screen image of a compatible tablet running the RayViewer or RayControl mobile app, which in turn is repeating the screen image of the MFD. |
