Hello,
My replacement E120W is making a noticeable humming noise upon start. It seems excessive and is far more noticeable that the previous unit. Is this an indication of a problem with the unit?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Joe,
Raymarine's E-Series Widescreen MFDs featured an internal cooling fan which can indeed be audible when the MFD is operating. Should you believe that your MFD's fan is loud enough that it may be indicative of a problem with the MFD's fan, then it would be recommended that the MFD be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.
