ES78 Fuel Data - Shesby - 09-24-16 09:20 PM I am unable to get the fuel level gauge to work on my ES78. I get fuel flow (GPH), MPG, gallons used and gallons remaining. However, on the display for percentage left it remains blank. Do I need to have a fuel level sensor installed in my tank? RE: ES78 Fuel Data - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 09-27-16 09:04 AM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Shesby, As you have suggested, the MFD's FUEL->TANK x (where x is the tank number)->FUEL LEVEL data items are designed to be populated from NMEA 2000 Tank Level Sensors. For systems lacking such sensors, but having fuel flow rate sensing capability, it is recommended that the MFD's Fuel Manager feature (HOME->SET-UP->FUEL MANAGER) in conjunction with the FUEL->EST. FUEL REMAINING data item be used. |
