Replancing Raypilot 650 - kband - 09-28-16 03:06 PM I would like to replace my Raypilot 650 and conect the replacement to my existing Raymarine es78. What would be my best option? Thank you RE: Replancing Raypilot 650 - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 09-28-16 05:10 PM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum kband, The RayPilot 650 is an autopilot control head ... one of five primary components of an autopilot system (Control Head, Course Computer / Actuator Control Unit, Heading Sensor (ex. fluxgate compass), Rudder Reference Transducer, and Actuator (also referred to as a drive unit (linear, hydraulic, hydraulic linear, mechanical linear, mechanical rotary, wheel, etc.). In order to properly specify a replacement autopilot, it would be necessary to know the model of actuator which is presently interfaced to your autopilot's Course Computer / Actuator Control Unit. Please respond with this information. |
