New to this site, was directed here from THT by CME, hope I can get some help.
I replaced a c80 coupled with a DSM250 with a e80/ DSM300 connected together with eternet cable. I am getting a no signal message when using the sounder. I know it was functioning with the older system. Will a thru hull transducer used with the DSM250 work with a DSM300? I so any suggestions as to what to check, beyond the connections since I have checked and re-checked those several times?

Transducers which had been designed for use with a DSM250 would indeed be compatible with a DSM300. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing how to troubleshoot communications issues between a DSM30/300 and an E-Series Classic MFD.
