M81130Auto Pilot Siezed up - Alterboy - 12-01-16 06:35 AM Good Morning , I have a 2007 ST6002 M81130 Type 1 linear drive 12v auto pilot and the drive arm seems to be seized up . I there a way to free this piston .? THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP TOM RE: M81130Auto Pilot Siezed up - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 12-01-16 09:55 AM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Tom, Raymarine autopilots feature a drive limit configuration setting which should configured to a value which will cease supplying power to the linear drive before the drive becomes fully extended or retracted. Failure to properly configure this setting may cause a mechanical drive to be over-extended or over-retracted, causing the linear drive to jam and possibly result in damage to the linear drive. Should this occur then it would be recommended that the linear drive be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced. |
