replacement of RL80C - Moondance - 12-02-16 11:15 AM

I bought a 2003 480 Sea Ray with all raymarine electronics which was great, but there is still a RL80C unit that is used for the radar readout and I would like to update to a new readout. There is a E120 on the dash but the RL80 is in an overhead box and it works well but the box is limited in size to 13 inches wide and 12 inches tall. What would be the recommended replacement?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Moondance,

Unfortunately, Raymarine no longer produces Multifunction Displays which would be compatible with the radome or open array radar pedestal which is presently interfaced to the boat's RL80C display. If supplied with information concerning whether the RL80C is presently interfaced to a radome or open array radar, then I may be able to provide some recommendations for both a replacement MFD and replacement radome or open array radar for your boat.
