My autopilot says it is aSmart Pilot S10 but the book that came with it
says SPX 10 what is the difference?

Raymarine has not produced an autopilot or autopilot course computer having the name S10. It has produced a S1, S1G, and SPX-10 (also known as X10) autopilot course computers. It is recommend that you inspect the autopilot course computer for a label on which the autopilot course computer's product ID and serial number have been printed. With this information, we may be able to identify the model of autopilot course computer which has been installed onboard the boat.
