C80 does not ready the cf - PROGECON - 01-09-17 07:44 AM

I have a c80.
The c80 does not read the map card.
I already tried to change the card and continue the error.
I try to save on the card and it says: Failed to save
What I can do?

PROGECON,

It is recommended that the MFD's memory card reader be tested with another compatible CF memory card. Should the MFD not be able to backup waypoint, route, or track data to a compatible CF memory card, then it would appear that the MFD's CF memory card reader has suffered a failure. Unfortunately, the replacement memory card reader part is no longer available and Raymarine's Product Repair Center can no longer service the memory card readers of this 14 year old product design. Should the system feature an radome or open array radar pedestal, then you may want to search the second hand market for a C80 or E80 MFD as both of these MFD designs would have been compatible with radomes and open array radar pedestals featuring analog video interfaces. Those seeking to replace a C-Series Classic MFD with a currently manufactured Raymarine MFD design should click here to view the related FAQ.
