Splicing or shortening wind analog transducer cable

Analog masthead wind transducer cable may be cut and marine grade 5-pin male and female plugs may be fitted to the cables to facilitate removal of the mast or arch from the vessel. As Raymarine does not offer such plugs, the will need to be sourced from a third party manufacturer of marine connectors (ex. Deutsch, Amphenol, etc.). The cables of analog masthead wind transducers may also be shortened or lengthened (up to 150' total length) to meet one's needs.

While Rotavecta wind transducer cables may be shortened, Rotavecta wind transducer cables should not be lengthened.
