NIB A65 (classic) - Bikerbob - 03-30-17 02:30 PM

So I have a NIB A65.

I got off the phone with Navionics - This is on its Obsolete list now.

I read a thread from 2013 that Navionics + would work with it.

I would like this unit with usable maps, but what maps can I put on it.

I have read it only does 2gb max.. but what can I still get for it.

Thanks

James

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Bob,

The A60/A65 Chartplotters and A60/A65 Chartplotter/Fishfinders (retired approximately ten years ago) had been designed for use with Navionics Silver and Navionics HotMaps Premium CF chart cards. While it has not been tested, it is possible that like Raymarine's A/C/E-Series Classic MFDs, these displays may function with a Navionic+ CF chart card after the card's cartography had been erased (consult with Navionics for procedures to erase content) and then populated only with Navionics Freshest Data nautical charts for your local area (total amount of cartography not to exceed 2GB). Should this not work, then it would unfortunately appear the cartography is no longer available.
