Extending a passive GPS antenna cable - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 05-01-17 09:00 AM Extending a passive GPS antenna cable Unfortunately, Raymarine no longer offers the E36011 10m Passive GPS Antenna Extension Cable (applications include AIS950, AIS650, AIS500, RC435, RN300, and RC320). If seeking to extend the cable of a passive GPS antenna, it is recommended that a cable extension up to 10m constructed from commonly available marine grade RG58 grade cable and that it be terminated with TNC connectors (one male and one female). It is also possible that some third party marine electronics manufacturers may offer extension cables terminated with these connectors. RAYFAQ# |
