Classic C80 AIS 650..is there a "Silent Mode" setting? - ChasandBev - 05-01-17 02:28 PM We just had a E32158 AIS 650 Class B AIS professionally installed on our classic C-80, 5.16 software version. There are times we want to receive only. I cannot find a Silent Mode setting on the C-80. Is there one?....or is there a simple way to accomplish this without turning the entire unit off? besides hard wiring a bespoke switch? Thank you, Chas McKeown Mainship 40/2005 RE: Classic C80 AIS 650..is there a "Silent Mode" setting? - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 05-01-17 02:46 PM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Chas, The AIS650 is indeed compatible with C-Series Classic MFDs. However, as C-Series Classic MFD software does not support configuring the AIS transceiver's Silent Mode feature, the AIS650's silent mode leads must be interfaced to a common marine grade ON/OFF switch to control the AIS650's silent mode feature. |
