Seatalkng card reader - nanchris - 05-11-17 08:36 AM

I think it would be a great idea to have a Seatalkng card reader so one could update software on various Raymarine devices without having to have a Raymarine MFD. Garmin has such a device that plugs into a NMEA 2000 network.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum nanchris,

Thanks for the accessory product suggestion, as it certainly would be applicable to systems featuring Raymarine products having a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 communications interface but lacking a Raymarine MFD having a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 communications interface. In the absence of such a device (and software within the products to perform updates via such a device), product software may be updated by a Certified Raymarine Installer, many Raymarine dealers, and Raymarine's Product Repair Center. Your accessory product suggestion will be logged accordingly.
