C-80 Replacement - jetmart - 05-13-17 06:07 PM

My 2004 C-80 screen appears to have e been damaged. Starts up but has many lines through it.
What are my options for repair or a plug & play replacement? Are there any other older models that would be a suitable replacement that I could just plug & play and use with my existing radar and depth finder?

I am not really looking to do a complete upgrade?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum jetmart,

It is recommended that the MFD be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced, as this may be one of the limited number of repairs which can still be offered for this family of MFDs. The only true plug and play replacement for a C80 MFD would be another C80 MFD. Should the current system's DSM be a DSM30 or DSM300 rather than a DSM250, then an E80 MFD would be another option. The cable interfacing a DSM30/DSM300 to the C80 MFD would need to be replaced with a cable assembly constructed from a SeaTalkhs Crossover Coupler and a pair of SeaTalkhs (M) to RJ45 (M) Cable of a appropriate length.
