Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Steve,

Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. Should you need to supply GPS data to a VHF supporting SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 communications, then it would be recommended that a Raystar 150 GPS Sensor be used for such purposes. Should you need to supply GPS data to a VHF supporting NMEA 0183 communications, then it would be be possible to use a Raystar 150 GPS Sensor in conjunction with an E70196 VHF NMEA 0183 to STng Converter Kit to supply GPS data to the VHF radio. However, I suspect that you may find less expensive options in using a third party GPS sensor supporting 4800 BAUD NMEA 0183 communications.
