EV-100 or EV-200 - stans2000 - 05-22-17 01:01 PM I have a 2007 320hp Mercruiser mx 6.2 MPI Bravo III MCM. I am trying to figure out which Autiopilot to purchase for trolling on the Chesapeake Bay. I will also connect it to my NMEA 2000 backbone which has a Raymarine Axiom. Any suggestions? I contacted Mercury and they provided the following: The MC Steering Cylinder is an unbalanced design. Bore Dia: 1.382†Rod Dia: .562†Full Stroke: 7.98†Extend Area: 1.500 In2 Retract Area: 1.252 In2 Extend Volume: 11.97 In3 Retract Volume: 9.99 In3 What do I need to find out regarding compatibility with my engine? I believe that the cylinder capacity data provided is that for the power steering ram. Does your boat feature a mechanical helm or a hydraulic helm? If this is not known, it is recommended that the boat's manufacturer be contacted to provide this information. |
