Navionics Platinum Plus card tide/current symbols - Captainpete12 - 05-23-17 08:48 PM I recently installed a es127 with Navionics Platinum Plus all went well except for the fact that I cannot find any Tide or Current symbols on the chart (it is in high detail mode). Any suggestions? Capt. Pete RE: Navionics Platinum Plus card tide/current symbols - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 05-24-17 09:05 AM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Pete, It is recommended that you verify that the MFD has been updated with the latest available Raymarine product software updates. If so and should the problem persist, then it is recommended that you verify that the Chart application's Chart Selection feature (MENU->PRESENTATION->CHART SELECTION) has been configured to Navionics Nautical Charts or Navionics Sonar Charts. At the time of this response LightHouse Charts did not feature support for tide and current data. If so, then Find Nearest (OK->FIND NEAREST) feature be executed to find the nearest tide of current station. Should this not result in tide or current stations then being listed and the above have been satisfied, then there would appear to be an issue with the MFD's memory card reader and/or the MFD's chart card. The MFD's memory card reader may be tested by commanding the MFD's to save it's screen image to a memory card within it's reader. Should the MFD report a failure to save the MFD's screen image, then the MFD's memory card reader would be deemed to have suffered a failure and it would be recommended that the MFD be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced. |
