Getting routes from PC to G120/GPM400? - weisbergj - 05-31-17 10:48 AM Hi Chuck, I use Coastal Explorer on my PC to plan out my routes. Currently, when finished, I export the route from CE to a GPX file, and use Raymarine Voyage Planner to convert to a .fsh file, which I copy to a CF card, place into one of my GPM400s, and then import the routes. I'm looking for a more steamlined process. My laptop running CE is connected to a Vesper XB-8000 (which is on my SeaTalk ng network), and acts as a NMEA repeater. I've tried to send the route from CE to the GPM400, but it appears that the GPM only receives over NMEA0183. Do you have any suggestions on how I could get the routes to the GPM without using the CF card? Thank you, Josh RE: Getting routes from PC to G120/GPM400? - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 05-31-17 10:55 AM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Josh, The only means of waypoint/route transfer supported by the GPM400 include the following: - via a CF memory card which has been populated with an Archive.fsh file (retired Raymarine proprietary waypoint/route/track format) in its root level directory - via the GPM400's NMEA 0183 communications interface. The GPM400 does not support transfer of waypoint/route/track data via its SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 communications interface.
