I finally got all the pieces necessary to get the sounder working--the DSM30 is now connected to my E-Series display via a cable assembly constructed from a pair of SeaTalkhs to RJ45 (M) Cables which have been joined with a SeaTalkhs Crossover Coupler.
It all works but every 5-10 minutes the display loses contact with the transducer or the DSM 30 and I get an alarm. It usually comes back online after a few seconds.
Any suggestions on troubleshooting?
