Connecting VHS to a eS97 - Entomo - 06-20-17 03:59 PM

Hi

I just installed a new eS97 at the helm and was able to connect it to the St60 instruments via a Seatalk to SeatalkNG converter kit. It was a pleasant surprise, it really was a plug-and-play connection!
Now I want to connect this MFD to my VHF radio to provide the radio with GPS position and receive DSC and AIS data on the eS97. My understanding is that this is done through the small wires carrying NMEA 0183 data?

I have a Standard Horizon GX2150 with four wires (green, blue, gray and brown). Any hints on which wires of the eS97 should be connected to these four wires?

Thanks for any informations

Cheers

Guy Boivin

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Guy,

Please see the chart below addressing this subject. The MFD's Port 1 will need to be configured to the "AIS 38400" setting.
