C97 with C95 - porman - 03-11-16 04:36 PM I have a C97 system with radar, fish finder, autopilot, and a Raymarine VHF with AIS. If I add a C95 at another location will it have all the same functions as the C97? Or do I need to add another C97? RE: C97 with C95 - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 03-11-16 04:54 PM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum porman, Should the c95 MFD be interfaced via an Ethernet (RayNet) network to the c97 MFD, then the c95 MFD would indeed support all functions supported by c97 MFD and share all system resources and data as long as both MFDs remain powered ON when operating the system. The only exception to this is NTSC/PAL video source which may presently be interfaced to the c97 MFD. Should you additionally desire to view such a video source on the c95 MFD, then the video signal from that video source would need to be split and then routed to the video input BNC connector of the c95 MFD's Power/NMEA 0183/Video Input Cable. |
