autopiolt steers in a circle - hunting080189 - 07-04-17 02:51 PM
I have a ST6001 autopiolt, followed all the steps to reconfigure it, the dealer calibration, seatrail etc.. When I put the autopiolt on auto the boat will just keep turnning in a circle and the display will say that it is offcoarse.
Let me know if you need more information or if someone can point me in the right direction what to look at.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Nick,
It is recommended that the autopilot's fluxgate compass be tested and that it's rudder reference transducer be tested. Should the devices pass testing and should right and left steering commands cause the vessel's rudder to move in the correct direction, then it would be recommended that the autopilot's course computer be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.
