ST800/P120 (Plastic) vs. (Bronze) - Marinerjoe - 07-27-17 09:54 AM

Chuck,

The thermister in my ST800/P120 (Bronze) transducer that's connected to a CP370 has failed (currently reading ~ 104 degrees). I do NOT need to replace the thru-hull, only the transducer.

My question, will the transducer from the Plastic (E66071) fit the Bronze (E66072) thru hull? There's a significant cost savings if I go with the Plastic.

Feature suggestion - if they ARE interchangeable, please offer just the transducer at a correspondingly lower cost.

Thanks in advance,

Joe

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Joe,

The Speed/Temp insert is indeed the same between the E66071 ST800 / P120 (Plastic) Speed/Temp Fishfinder Transducer and the E66071 ST800 / P120 (Bronze) Speed/Temp Fishfinder Transducer. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing where one may obtain transducer parts.

Thanks Chuck. I'll keep that FAQ handy.
