But I didn't understand it entirely. I understand that my current equipment won't show bottom contours.

But I didn't quite understand your advice about adding equipment so I could see bottom contours. Would you please make a recommendation for specific additional products would I need to do that?

A1. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. Unlike the e7D MFD, the e7 MFD does not feature internal fishfinder circuitry. You may want to consider interfacing the e7 MFD to CPT-100 which in turn will be interfaced to a thru-hull CHIRP/DownVision Transducer or thru-hull CPT-S Transducer.
