axiom wont read card - caught lookin - 08-05-17 08:37 AM
I just had the axiom 9 installed. it came with navionics card but its not reading it. I had a fellow fishing guide who is on staff with raymarine look at it to set it up and he wasn't able to do it. he call someone from raymarine and was walked thru process and it still not working. any suggestions?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Jim,
It is recommended that you examine the MFD's microSD memory card reader slot. As space exists between the reader and the case opening for the reader, care should be taken to insert the microSD memory card into the center of the slot. When correctly and fully inserted into the MFD's microSD memory card reader, the card will extend slightly more than 1/8" from the reader. Should it extend more than this value, then it has not been correctly and fully inserted into the MFD's microSD memory card reader. If correctly and fully inserted into the MFD's microSD memory card reader and the problem persists, then it would be recommended that the MFD's microSD memory card reader be tested by attempting to save the MFD's waypoints (if none created, then do so first) to the microSD memory card. Should the MFD report success, then it would be recommended that the Navionics chart card be sent to Navionics (508-291-6000) to be bench checked / serviced.
