ST 6001+ replacement - BosSH - 08-08-17 08:06 AM I would like to replace a faulty ST 6001+ autopilot controller with a P70 controller. The P70 needs to connect to our Raymarine 150 Course Computer and also to our ST60+ wind and depth instruments. Would I need to use a seatalk 1 to seatalk ng converter for the interface between the computer and the P70 controller? If so, what cables would be necessary to connect the P70 to the converter, and the computer to the converter? Thank you. Bob RE: ST 6001+ replacement - Chuck - Raymarine - Moderator - 08-18-17 04:16 PM Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Bob, The specified kit would not be used for this purpose. When interfacing a p70/p70S/p70R/p70RS to an Type 150 autopilot course computer, the autopilot control head will need to be interfaced to the SeaTalk bus (using an A22164 SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Cable), not as spur to a SeaTalkng backbone. |
