NO PILOT message from Smart Pilot X-5 - Houler43 - 08-25-17 09:33 PM gnI am getting the No Pilot message and want to know where to start on figuring this out. The AP is connected to a C90W plotter which confirms that no heading data is available. The controller is receiving power. Where do I start? Whereas the system is not reporting a value for heading, I would recommend that troubleshooting begin with verification that that the circuit supplying power to the autopilot course computer is switched ON and that it's connection to the SeaTalkng backbone good. If so, then it would be recommended that the autopilot course computer be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced. |
