Thanks Chuck

In the very near future I will be purchasing a Quantum Radar dome to replace my R41XX open array Antenna. I have not removed the Open Array yet so I don't have dimensional information from it. Do you know if the bolt [censored] pattern for the Quantum matches the R41xx [censored] pattern?

Eric,

While the 2D/4D, NGS, Digital/HD Digital, and Quantum radomes all feature the same bolt pattern, this bolt patter differs from that of the 41XX pedestal. The mounting template for the Quantum radomes may be found here. While Raymarine does not offer adapter plates for such purposes, you may want to check with a metal fabricator in your area to have one produced should you desire to re-use the 41XX pedestal's feet.

Chuck

I recently acquired an ST 40 depth display. I want to put this in the back of the boat for fishing. I'll have the Axiom Pro, Axiom, and an STng to ST converter up at the dash. If I connect the ST 40 into the Sea Talk network, will I be able to display the depth which is coming from the Axiom Pro transducers?

Please let me know

Thanks

Eric

Eric,

Should 1) the ST40 Instrument be interfaced to the same SeaTalk bus that the SmartController's base station has been interfaced to, and 2) this SeaTalk bus is interfaced to the SeaTalk socket of a SeaTalk to SeaTalk Converter, and 3) is configured to function a a Repeater rather than a Master (see the ST40 Depth Instrument's Owner's Manual), then the ST40 Depth instrument will repeat depth from the system.
