just noticed a new update for dragonfly 5 and they mentioned a new 20degree transducer - CPT-S-DF-20 , #A80545
but can not find any info on it.
can anyone tell me how and what it is and is it for the dragonfly series???

Unlike the CPT-S transducers, most other thru-hull Dragonfly transducers support both DownVision and High CHIRP (conical) sonar imaging. The CPT-S transducers, which are designed with a lower profile, are designed support the needs of those seeking a thru-hull transducer supporting only High CHIRP conical sonar imaging features with their Dragonfly fishfinder. The CPT-S-DF-20 will support hulls 15-25 degrees of deadrise in the installation location.

so does the latest sept 2017 update for dragonfly only deal with the issues of using that new transducer OR DOES IT IMPROVE other functions when using the supplied dfly 5dvs transducer???
also, if updating the units software , and your unit has 2 new updates available, will just downloading the latest one also install the previous update???? or do you have to separately download each update and the separately install then in the unit??

As it is not uncommon for software updates to include software corrections and minor enhancements not specified within the software history, it is recommended that customers maintain their products with the latest software updates.
Like most software updates for Raymarine products, the software updates for Dragonfly displays are designed to be inclusive of the feature additions and feature corrections found within prior versions of Dragonfly software. Accordingly, one need only install the latest posted software update.
