is it necessary to connect transducer to master MFD? - jonsnoddy - 10-19-17 12:21 AM

I have two ES series MFD's Is it necessary to connect the depth transducer to the master or can it connect to either? The two MFD's are connected by Ethernet.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Jon,

The fishfinder transducer may be interfaced to the Transducer socket of either MFD (assumes that both MFDs have been equipped with the same type of fishfinder processing circuitry (ex. DownVision or 600W 50kHz/200kHz).
