is it possible to download software updates onto a windows based pc and then later on download them from the pc onto an sd card??

Q. is it possible to download software updates onto a windows based pc and then later on download them from the pc onto an sd card?
A. Yes. The instructions for updating the Dragonfly specifically call for downloading the zip file containing the software update files to one's computer. The zip file will then opened, the software update files found therein will be copied, and then they will be pasted into the root level directory of the microSD memory card which will be used to update the software within the Dragonfly display.
